Layout Re-Revert, and a New Moderator!

As some of you may have noticed, I've changed around the forum categories on the boards. I took all of your suggestions for the new site, and worked up a beta layout.

As for the new site, Xphoid has business in real life to attend to, which means a delay until we're both on the same page. At present, I am the only active administrator on this site and Ramy is the only active moderator. With that in mind, I've asked CMG to be a site moderator, and he's accepted. Congrats CMG!

Questions, comments, suggestions and critiques on the new layout are welcome!

Layout revert!

Back to 2005! I went back to the fairly old layout just as preference. The new site is still on hold for a bit. Until then, enjoy or not the really old layout. If you notice any bugs let me know, I did this quick and on a whim.

Anyway *vanishes again*!

Forum cleanup conducted

I have moved all normal topics in most boards that were last replied in 2007 to archive. This would help eliminate thread bumping and give 2008 a fresh new start.

Domain Back

Oops, let this domain expire. I got a domain landing page, but hopefully most dns hasn't switched over. I've registered it again so it should all be fine in a day.

1,000th Simfile (current)

We have reach 1000 simfiles currently on the site. Congrats to Grim5768 for uploading the 1000th current simfile Sonic Boom. I say current as we've seen at least a few [dozen] simfiles come and go for various reasons, but for the most part they stay up. :)

And Happy Halloween! (I wasn't going to make a post for just Halloween, but they ended up on the same day.)

Alright, I said we weren't going to do make news of this anymore, but 25k! Congrats to Enigma731 who became our 25,000th member. We hope everyone is enjoying the simfile DB which is the primary reason why the majority of our members joined. And a special thanks to all those who do post and/or stay active in the forums and simfile DB.
